Property Description

Municipality Prozor is a town located in the south of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Given the location of it, Mediterranean climate prevails here, which comes by Neretva Rama vallies and therefore this whole place is very pleasant and enjoyable for life. This geographical space is surrounded by high peaks and mountain slopes, which are so closed and isolated but in a harmonious whole. Highway M16.2 between Mostar and Bugojno passes through this municipality as well as the regional road R418 connecting Prozor-Rama area  on the west side towards Tomislavgrad and Livno and makes the closest direct connection to Split and the Makarska area.


Cultural and historical heritage, natural resources

This area is full of lush greenery and offers excellent conditions for fishing, walking, hiking, boating, as well as insight into the life of villages scattered in nearby hills.
If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place, the Lake Rama is most definately what you are looking for.

Local villagers are very nice people and by going into the mountains, you will discover fascinating Catholic villages where women still wear traditional clothes, practicing the ancient ritual - tattooing crosses on their hands, sometimes even on the forehead.
Rama Lake is a home to the island Scit where you can enjoy Ethnographic Museum within the Franciscan monastery Rama-Scit, the Art Gallery and the House of Peace welcoming those who seek peace and quiet, who need an advice or who arrived for a one-day fishing on the lake. Mentioning Window-Rama area makes people automatically think of this island and its beauty.
As far as national monuments, this Municipality has Franciscan Monastery and Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mosque in Lizoperci mekteb and harem, a monument of Makljen and old fortress Prozor.

In the town not far from Nuhefendic mosque, known as the downtown mosque, there is also a clock tower. It was built around 1700, and since it did not have hands, noon was bell signified.
