In the 19th and early 20th century, the most typical house from central Bosnia “cardaklija” (with top floor) House of Mara Popovic was built in 1840 (Kulenovic, 1994, pg. 126). According to the traditional stories, this bosnian house was built by Mara Popovic’s father in-law, where she lived for the rest of her life.
